Summer seems so far away!
Make your plans now!

So, if you want to go, do not put this off.

- Why Summer?
- Rocky Mountain National Park is stunningly beautiful in the Summer.
- Spring snow is melting and there’s usually a lot of snow still in the mountains at the higher elevations. (The snow-capped mountains are beautiful.)
- Waterfalls are flowing more (due to the snow melt). That means better photography opportunities with the many waterfalls and cascades in the park.
- Wildflowers blanket the park… Colorado Columbines, Mountain Iris, Horsemint, Mountain Lupines, Aspen Daisies, Tall Chiming-Bells, Alpine Forget-me-nots, Western Yellow Paintbrush, Marsh-Marigolds, Alpine Thistles, and so much more.
- Wonderful wildlife encounters! Here are some of the wildlife we have seen on past trips:
- Elk
- Moose
- Marmot
- Pika
- Rabits
- Big Horn Sheep
- Bear
- Coyote
- Bobcat
- Squirrels
- Chipmunks
- Muskrats
- Wide variety of birds
- If you live in a warmer climate, this is a great escape from the heat of Summer! Cool daytime highs in the 70’s are typical.
- Old Fall River Road typically opens just a few days before our workshop begins. You simply must experience this scenic mountain road with us!
- Why Go with Us?
- Experience: Kevin Gourley has been leading these workshops for years in Rocky Mountain National Park. He knows the area really well.
- Everything is planned out for a worry-free experience!
- Kevin has helped photographers at all skill levels with all different brands of cameras.
- Use this as an opportunity to grow in your photography skills as well as being led to beautiful locations within magnificent Rocky Mountain National Park.
- The entire adventure is carefully planned out by Kevin to ensure your best opportunities for getting great shots, being at the right places at the right times to ensure the optimal light, and increased chances of wildlife photo opportunities.
- This is arranged as a small group experience with just 6 photographers. Enjoy the camaraderie with your fellow photographers as we embark on our daily adventures.
- We offer 4 day and 9 day options! The 9 day option offers more than double the opportunity for great photos and wildlife encounters in the park.
- Over 40 hours of photography learning (in the 4 day option, double that in the 9 day option)! Includes pre-trip meetings, and a post-trip opportunity to share some of your best shots.
- Unlike many workshops, we offer the opportunity for you to bring along a non-photographer spouse/partner to join us on all of our activities at no additional charge! (It’s ok for them to use a smartphone camera though.)
- Enjoy a complimentary burger cookout on Fall River (weather permitting).
- We go out to dinner on the other evenings. Kevin knows the best places to eat in town. 🙂
- Simply read the reviews! Our previous participants comments explain why you will want to go with us!
- Many of our workshop participants have come back to join us year after year, returning a 2nd, 3rd, even 4th time!
